Skunkfeathers And The Woild

Yes, it is.

Periodically I like to look in and see where in the world is looking in on me.

At times it's fascinating.

My one bucket list goal -- a visit from Liechtenstein -- still hasn't happened.  I'll keep kicking the bucket down the road, until it does.

I still get interesting and varied places looking in.  Including one that might be from beyond.

Over the past week, this is how my top ten visiting locations stack up:

United States 173
Russia 166
United Arab Emirates 161
Vietnam 159
Germany 18
France 17
Ukraine 14
China 12
Nigeria 10
Indonesia
9

That the US is tops again is not unusual.

The Russians aren't second overall, but this week they were...probably bots.  The dems will assume that they're trying to steal my election too.  Fortunately, I'm not running for anything.  That won't prevent cnn from misreporting it, but eh...that's all cnn's good for any more.

Good morning, Vietnam...159 times.  Bet they've seen the movie too.

Nigeria's visits are on the upswing...and not surprising, since more and more of them are finding a site where their scams are being mauled.  Lots of angst in the fly-infested internet cafes all over Lagos and points thereabouts, I imagine.

At any rate, it's nice of y'all in your respective countries to look in h'yar.

But it was in the daily visits for the middle of that week that the curiosity was piqued:

United States 38
Russia 6
Unknown Region
4
Nigeria 4
Germany 3
France 3
Italy 2
South Korea 2
Poland 2
Ukraine
2

In the 13 years that this blog has existed, that is the first time I've had visits from an "unknown region".

Might it be....from space?

If so, I hope they're not disappointed in the lack of intelligent life my blog encounters in the scamisphere.  Then again, we don't need an interplanetary war started because some Nigerian dunce tries to convince a denizen of Uranus that they've won a Faceplant lottery without entering, and only have to send a small fee to collect it.

I can help any denizen from Uranus out in that event:  just copy and use the Zimbabwe currency that's prominent at the start of this post.  It might mean nothing to the good octosexual orthopods of Uranus, but it will certainly convey a clear message to a scammer in Nigeria.

The same message I've delighted in conveying to scammers world-wide the past 13 years of this blog, and 19 years overall.

In the meantime, I'm still looking for that one page visit from Liechtenstein.

But I won't take it amiss if I get one from Uranus, either....or any other celestial locality, just in case the 'unknown region' isn't Uranus.

An Update On Who's Looking In

With a couple exceptions, not many from the pictured neck of the woods.

Every so often it's interesting to see who is looking into the blog.  Or at least who is stumbling across it during their web searches for something useful, strange or hellary clintonesque, like 5 XXL ass thongs.

We'll start with a "Good Morning VIETNAMMMMMMM!"  They looked in or at least clicked through four times recently.

Possibly to see if China is building any off shore islands here as well (they're not...my pet rock would let me know if they were, though there's a morphing leftover in the 'fridge that might take on ominous similarities).

Switzerland's been here...perhaps it was even someone from that coveted location I seek to eventually see in my visits:  Liechtenstein.  I still occasionally reference the International Crustacean Obedience Training Institute, fauxlocated in Vaduz, in posts and email exchanges with scammers.  Perhaps the Mayor of Vaduz still gets an occasional call for the Institute on his fax machine.

*Wink*

Places known to be hotbeds of online scammer activity are always dropping by.  This week included Bulgaria, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, the UK, Canada, Nigeria, Benin, Cote D'Ivoire, Senegal...I even had a visit from the Democrap National Committee.

That comparison of Medusa to DWS still has 'em annoyed.

China looked in...their visits only fall off when my pet rock, Seymour, makes fun of North Korean dick tater Kim Jong Un.
South Korea looks in as well.  Usually to laugh at how Seymour edits Kim Jong Un.

Since Germany and France have managed to avoid shooting at each other for over a generation now, they have time enough to look in, when they're not comparing notes on how out of control their respective muslim 'refugees' are.

Sweden and Norway may want to take note of that as well.

Poland drops by frequently; probably spying on Russia.  So has Latvia and Lithuania.  Estonia apparently doesn't care.  Or at least doesn't care to look for what the Russians are doing here.

Japan and Taiwan look in now and again; Japan probably wants to know when my pet rock, Seymour, is going to visit the Moooo! Bar on Shiraishi Island again.

Last but not least -- and referenced at the beginning of this post -- I had three visits from Lebanon and Pakistan each.  I didn't know that there was any part of the former left, between the idiots of Hezbollah with their rockets and Israeli responses.  I imagine that it looks rather like this:
Then I realize that this is a picture of leftard-ruined Deadtroit.

Lebanon is probably better off.

At any rate, the blog has now surpassed 305,000 'visits' or 'hits' since 2005.

Not exactly the pace of page visits that the Kardashian butt cam gets.  But if Trump does somehow snake oil his way into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, I'm sure that Kanye will get all sorts of new visits as people will want to know what country was dumb enough to admit him.

Stat's Wazzup

Another wee break from my abuse of email scammers, by taking a look into the Google/Blogger mirror, to see where this blog has gone since it's humble beginnings in June of 2005.

The sign to the right probably sums it up nicely.

No, I've never been to Brooklyn.  But I reckon someone from Brooklyn has been heah, y'know whadda mean?

I don't go out of my way to generate traffic, so it's of no great surprise that I've only had just under 68,000 page views since this blog began.  I'm sure Nigeria gets more page views, when people do a word search such as "419 email scams", "Mariam Abacha", or "number of flushing toilets in Lagos".

It will probably come as no surprise that the vast majority of searches leading here are via Google, or that the most used search platforms are Chrome and Internet Explorer.  It will also probably come as no surprise that more than half of all page visits have originated right here in the US.

But I was amused as I perused the 'audience' feature of my stat counter.  There was the 'Now' counter, the 'Today' counter, the 'Week' counter, 'Month' and 'All Time' counters.  Again, as would come as no surprise, visits by US based web surfers were number 1 in all categories.  For example, today's top 10 visitors to this page came from, in order:  USA, India, Ukraine, Germany, UK, Australia, France, Russia, Brazil and Greece.

Which proves that, at least today, not everyone in Greece is broke.

For the week, the top ten were the USA, UK, India, Ukraine, Australia, Germany, France, Canada, Russia and...are you ready for this....Nigeria.

Considering the subject material most posted here -- email scams -- I'm surprised that Nigeria isn't a more frequent page visitor.  I certainly piss enough of them off by playing and/or rewriting their scam letters.

For the month, the top ten runs the USA, UK, India, France, Germany, Russia, Canada, Australia, Ukraine, and the Netherlands.

Holland sneaks in there quite possibly because of a joke I like to tell.  More on that later.

As for my all-time top ten visitors, it runs USA, UK, Germany, India, Russia, Canada, Netherlands, Australia, France, and Ukraine.

That comes as no surprise, at least to me:  email scammers operate out of all of these countries.  At one time, I was being almost overrun with Russian and Ukrainian bride email scammers.  I continue to be inundated with online lotto scams, frequently attributed to the UK, and a few out of Canada.

I'm sure India keeps looking in to see if I've grown enough to need a telephone call center yet.  Possibly for my Bonco product line of junk inventions, like Phffft Asure.

I'm not sure why I get so much traffic from France; I mean, I haven't asked them to surrender or anything.  As for Australia, well...there's just a lotta good blokes and sheilas there.

Occasionally, other countries show up in the stat counts.  Like when I poke fun at 72 virgin camels, I'll get an occasional turban apoplexy out of Iran.  I'm sure I'm not high on Ahmadinejad's "favorite infidels" list.

Anyway, I thought the stats interesting.  And you probably needed a nap.

Oh yeah...I haven't forgotten.  My favorite Netherlands joke.  I'll tell that another time ;-)
