2996

On this date, nine years ago.
WTC. The Pentagon. A rural piece of western Pennsylvania.
To those lost, not forgotten.
To those who did and applauded it, not forgiven.

Friends in the Pentagon that day...one had to crawl out through the flames...part of the plane in his office...Thank God he survived. I only lived 20 minutes down the road...an unbelievable nightmare... I will never forget either. Thanks, dear Skunk! Hugs~Janine

Today is a day for reflection and contemplation, and that day will never be forgotten.

I can't believe so many think it was a conspiracy.....from the inside. This was the worst attack on American soil, and the three thousand plus that died do not deserve to be forgotten. And we will NOT forget. Thanks for this wonderful post.

I have a friend who was born on 11th Sept, he celebrates it on the 12th now, can't bring himself to enjoy a day so heavily laden with grief.

Such a cruel, evil waste, wasn't it?
