A Skunk with feathers? Danged right...thoughts and musings of just such a skunk, one that learned how to type, conjugate verbiage and communicate thought processes easier than lifting the tail to scatter the opposition. It doesn't always work with 419 email scammers or the pathetically politically correct (which readers will find I ain't). For them, the tail gets lifted, and they get sprayed. *DISCLAIMER*: sometimes, it doesn't pay to drink or eat while reading this h'yar. Just sayin'...

As someone who's lived in a military family (both my father AND my son) I second that.
Amen.
It's interesting...my son wanted to sleep and then watch the Rangers game. He didn't want to watch anything having to do with Memorial Day. I don't believe it was an insult. I think he's still "there" sometimes. We all respected his view. He's not the only one I've heard of that did that.
I spent the day quietly thanking God my son wasn't one of the ones who made that ultimate sacrifice.
Nice to see someone else saluting our soldiers. It didn't seem like all that many bloggers did this year.
It's important to do this not only Memorial Day but year 'round - they deserve so much more. Hope you had a nice Memorial Day weekend.
Bless and thank you. Head over to my place for Memorial tribute. I am missing a dear friend this memorial day. Have a wonderful day!
