We flew our flag today in memory of them.
The Old Bastards had a moment of silence this morning at our monthly breakfast. We have a fantastic Chaplain who remembered the day in the grace prior to the meal.
And I would expect nothing less from you, Jack. We might not agree on all things political, but we both agree on this day. And while I'm at it...thank you, friend, for your service, and that of your "Old Bastards", as you call them. People like you, those today and those before you, allow us to live to remember, and to cherish that which and whom we remember.
We must NEVER forget
My house and only ONE OTHER on my entire street are the only ones with flags.
I won't forget, even if the neighbors I have who subsist off gov't dollars (retired military and police officer from Denver) choose to not remember.
